All downtown BIA’s have the same goal – to encourage more traffic and ultimately increase traffic and sales in their business district. We strive to create a vibrant community and a prosperous local economic environment. The BIA acts as a unifying body for our membership – working to make Downtown Woodstock a “Destination” not only for the retailers and restaurants but for our professional and cultural assets as well. Our efforts are dedicated to ensuring a healthy economic environment for our community and making Downtown Woodstock a Destination – a place in which to shop, dine, work, play live or invest!

Events
Our events and promotions are designed so that all BIA members can choose to participate and benefit from the increased traffic in our downtown. Our events include ouf Summer Music Fest , Sidewalk Days and Art in the Square; Dine Around Downtown, Golf Tournament, Santa Claus Parade and Christmas Downtown programming.

BIA Incentive Cards - "Work Downtown, Shop Downtown" ...
You'd be surprised at the number of people who work Downtown Wodostock! We want to ensure that they shop downtown so we initiated the Downtown Employee Incentive Program. Every Employee who works in the area is entitled to a card. Please contact the BIA office to as how you can get a card. Many stores offer an incentive and it varies from store to store. There are two things we ask: please present the card before your purchase and don't share you card with others.

Destination Downtown Passport To Savings Event Card Program
Similar to our popular BIA members Incentive Card, we have a “Destination Downtown Event Card” for people visiting Woodstock either on business or pleasure! The cards will be available to group coordinators and organizations that have an event here in Woodstock. The cards will offer them savings at participating downtown Woodstock businesses – save the tax, a percent off purchase, free appetizer with entrée, buy one get one ½ price, kids eat free, etc! Call the BIA office for more information.

Pewter Ornaments & Panoramic Prints
Eight buildings and the Springbank Snow Countess have been immortalized as Pewter ornaments. Historic Panoramic Print – a snapshot of downtown taken Dominion Day 1927. Beautiful! Both are available for purchase at the BIA office and select stores downtown!

Consistent Distinct Branding and Marketing Programs
A new advertising campaign with the goal of branding our Downtown as the place to Shop, Dine, Work and Play in Woodstock and Oxford County. “Destination Downtown” has its own look, sound and feel. “Look” is achieved with a distinctive brand image that can be seen in all our print advertising, street banners, business cards, our merchandise bags, etc. “Sound” is the distinctive new jingle that will be heard on radio commercials that will make people take note. “Feel” is the continuity we hope will come from the exposure residents will have to our brand through all media and our membership.

The BIA Beautifies Downtown Woodstock
Another key function of the BIA is “beautifying” the Downtown. The Downtown Woodstock BIA continually works to improve the attractiveness and cleanliness of Downtown. We work with the city of Woodstock and our members to ensure that downtown continues to look great to the local citizens and visitors to our community.
